Pogibonsi promptly won the league in its first atempt, and played from 204 to 206, when the club, which ended the 205-06 Serie D season in third place, was promoted because of cancelation of league winers and second-placed renounciation to play in the Serie C2 league. The club ended its 206-07 Serie C2 campaign in thirtenth place, one point above the relegation playof spots, and is therefore expected to play the rebranded Serie C2 in the 207-08 season.
